 Happy Birthday Super Woman!!!

Wow she must be proud of all she has accomplished. Raised 5 amazing children and has 5 stunning grandchildren.

Nobody knows what the future holds but all I know for know is I am blessed to still have at least 1 parent left.

Very often we do not say thank you enough to our parents. Mommy thanks for raising me well, for teaching me to be strong and to keep on keeping on, to continue the good fight. You are my rock and I will love you forever and a day because you know me better than I know myself. You have taught us kindness and  how to love they neighbor regardless of who or what they are.

I am blessed to have you in my life for you have given me the strength when I needed it most, have picked me up when I have fallen and you are always on my side no matter he battle, you are always in my corner. With you in my corner I know I can face anything life throws at me. Lord bless this God fearing woman with so many more years to see me become the woman I know she would be proud of. the grandmother of my children and the Mother-in-law my Husband needs her to be. She is truly a heaven sent.

Mom you are and have always been the voice of reason in our family. May God bless you and keep you.

365 days of new challenges, new memories and new experiences.

They say with the beginning of each year you have the opportunity to start a fresh on a brand new page.

 Am hitting the ground running. Last year we learnt so much about myself that I refuse to repeat the same mistakes of last year.

Have learnt that you can't control what people say about you, the only thing you can control is the way you react to what they say. If what they say has no power over you then how can you let it control the way you feel.

Love is in the air....

So Kim is at it again. On her birthday Kanye asked her to marry him and the fame fatale said yes.
Well, we hope this time the marriage will last longer than 72 days, seeing as how the relationship has lasted longer than 18months. She became a mother to baby North. So we wish them luck and prosperity.

On a note closer to home, my sister in law is also getting married. She has been smitten by this man for so long it was inevitable. I am so happy for them honestly, simply because I know how wonderful it is to be married. My husband and I didn't wast any time getting our nuptial out of the way.

Last year this time I was putting down deposits, looking for rings and making sure this was not a haox. He proposed on my Bday. Og shame he was so nervous and I knew he was planning to propose but pretended not to know to ensure that he doesn't lose his edge. Anyways I said yes, well I couldn't really say no. I had already bought his ring and put down deposits for the venue and what not. But I do not regret a single thing that I have done since the day I met my husband.      

What have I loved most about being married?      

Well that is easy. Falling in love over and over with the same man. it has been a magical journey and the journey  continues. Every day I learn something about myself and about my husband, he makes me laugh so much and I him. Oh boy and when he laughs my world lights up. so much so that I never want him to stop.

Live every moment. Laugh everyday. Love always. Love every moment. Laugh always. Live everyday...

To my sister in law I have nothing but love and wish her peace and joy and hope that he makes her as happy as her brother makes me...

Becoming one with your skin

Well I have been pondering about this for a while and have come to the realisation that I have a talent.

Ever since I can remember I have done make up. My own that of my siblings and the occasional friend here and there. so upon request. not to mention when i used to sing in the choir i had to do make up for the girls for the stage so i have pretty much been doing it for a while.

So looking at my work I think I might have a gift. Am gonna invest in a whole lot of make up...

I intend on perfecting it...

Like I said she is always camera ready

They grow up so fast.

I still remember the day she made an appearance into my life, she was so small and fragile... Those cheeks and those puffy eyes. All she did was cry all the time. And all of a sudden I was no longer the little sister, but rather the older sister that had to make sure that she was fed, changed and burped.

Og those endless sleeples nights, and then she would only sleep if I held her close to me.

Then she become older and blossomed into the most gorgeous little princess i have ever laid my eyes on.

 She brightens up my day and I cannot imagine my life without my little sister. Simply because she is such a breath of fresh air. She is simply amazing.

Her smile can make anyone smile for days, and she is still so innocent. Og when did she become so big.
