Graduating @ 58. Dreams do come true.

Meet my mother, born on the 25th March 1955 Alina Muetudhana.

Mother and Grandmother to Nelly (41) , Eddy, Ndeshi & Alina (namesake)

Julia (38)

Benita (18)

Indila (31) and Tylor

Me (28)

She gave birth to all of us and raised us with an iron fist. She was a very strict mother and we never dared cross her, because back in the day you knew that your mother would beat the black out of you. It worked for her and being a single parent she had to be strict.
When my father passed away in 1992 she gave up her dream of furthrting her studies to raise all of us.
She did a pretty good job, and eventhough we had our misunderstanding my mother was always there to knock me back to reality.
She raised us all the same and we never once felt as though there was favouritism.

My mother decided in 2010 to return to University to get her Nursing Diploma, and she was looked at and frowned upon and she had made up her mind and decided that she was gonna get her degree no matter what.
Me on the other hand opted to give up studying law to continue a life of partying and just being wild, this did not for one moment make my mom derive from her plan. She stuck to her studies and worked really really hard.

Her hard work paid of. My mother is the only one of 9 children to graduate, and it just shows that you are never to old to follow your dream.
If you believe in it then it doesn't matter what anyone says, you can make it and be whatever your heart desires.

So here's to you mum, CONGRATULATIONS AND WE ARE SO VERY PROUD OF YOU.

KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE...
Thanks Mom for being my inspiration and my hero...
